Update: Crash Awakens Residents On Moy Ave.

Some residents living on Moy Ave. in Windsor have had a rude awakening after an accident early this morning.

The Windsor Police says a female driver overcompensated around 1am Monday and hit five parked cars on Moy between Niagara St. and Cataraqui St.

Sergeant Andrew Drouillard says there were minor injuries, and the driver faces a charge of careless driving.

While on the scene, Drouillard says it came to the officer's attention that an alleged drunk driver was involved in a second crash the next street over. A man faces charges of impaired driving and dangerous driving in that accident.

Earlier, Windsor police reported an alleged drunk driver was involved in the original crash.
