New Exhibit Opening

A new permanent exhibit on Windsor's French roots is now open to the public at the Francois Baby House.

"The Francois Baby House was actually built in 1812 by a very prominent French Canadian so we're very excited to be able to feature the permanent exhibit on the French in the area," says Museum Curator Madelyn Della Valle.

The opening of the exhibit aligns with the 400th anniversary of the Francophone presence in Ontario. This is the first exhibit to open since renovations began on Windsor's Community Museum and the Chimczuk Museum.

Exhibits at the Chimczuk Museum located on the first floor of the Windsor Art Gallery are expected to open in January.
