Police say the crash happened just before 11am, with the car going through the front of the building.
While there was damage to the structure, police say the store remained open during cleanup. There were also no injuries reported.
The Windsor Police Traffic Unit is now handling the investigation. No charges have been laid as of yet.
Chatham-Kent police reported a 44-year-old man driving a pickup truck was killed in the crash at Jeanettes Creek Road and Coutts Line around 6 p.m. Tuesday.
