Firefighters responded to 1407 Aubin Rb. just before 1:30am Wednesday.
A body was found inside while the fire was being extinguished. Officials say fire started in the bedroom.
The blaze also spread to the home next door, causing a total of $290,000.
The Office of the Ontario Fire Marshal's Office and Windsor fire have completed the investigation.
