Division Rd. Reopens Following Crash

The Ontario Provincial Police shut down Division Rd. in Kingsville between Hwy. 3 and Road 5 this morning after a serious single-vehicle accident.

Around 2:20am Friday, a minivan left the road and went into a ditch, ejecting the driver from the vehicle. The driver was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The road was closed for several hours while the OPP Technical Traffic Collision team processed the scene, but has since reopened.

Chatham-Kent police reported a 44-year-old man driving a pickup truck was killed in the crash at Jeanettes Creek Road and Coutts Line around 6 p.m. Tuesday.
