Windsor Man Assaulted, Robbed

A Windsor resident trying to stop two men from stealing was allegedly assaulted and robbed himself.

Police say it began when the 48-year-old victim noticed two men trying to bust open coin laundry machines in his apartment building. It happened Monday just before 10am in the 1900-block of College Ave.

When the victim confronted the suspects police say both assaulted him, took some cash from his wallet and ran off.

The victim was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The first suspect is described as a white male between 25-30 years old, 6'1", 250lbs with medium length brown hair. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a white t-shirt.

The second man is described as white, between 30-35, 5'9", 230-250lbs and last seen wearing blue jeans and a white t-shirt as well.

Anyone with information is asked to call Windsor police or Crime Stoppers.
