UPDATE: Moy Ave. Fire Out

The owner of a house at 1802 Moy Ave. in Windsor is hoping the damage isn't too bad after a fire broke out this morning.

Tom Hutman had just purchased the home in June, and was planning to move in this weekend when he woke up to hear on the radio that a fire had started there at 6:30am. "I talked to the fire chief," says Hutman. "He says it (the fire) was restricted to the kitchen. He says it looks like it burned itself out. They think it's electrical, but we're waiting for the inspector to do his investigation."

Windsor fire says damage is pegged at close to $125,000 and investigators are unable to determine what sparked the blaze.

Hutman was working to renovate the home before moving in.  No injuries to speak of.
