Teens Stopped With Open Liquor

A traffic stop by the police near Belle River has resulted in charges against a couple of teens including having open liquor in their vehicle.

The Ontario Provincial Police clocked a black Dodge travelling 30km/h over the speed limit on County Rd. 22 at Wallace Line around 1:20am Sunday. While speaking with three teens inside the officer realized one of them was in breach of the conditions from a previous charge, and there was an open alcohol bottle inside.

A 17-year-old faces with three counts of failing to comply with recognizance, and an 18-year-old is charged with speeding and driving a motor vehicle with an open container of liquor.
