Windsor-Essex Festivals Earn Honours

Five festivals in the region have made the 2015 Top 100 list from Festivals and Events Ontario.

Tourism of Windsor-Essex-Pellee Island CEO Gordon Orr says they look forward to seeing the list revealed every year. "It's recognition of the calibre of events that we have to offer in the region. They're outstanding. These events have been around for a number of years in some cases, and they're part of the fabric of our community.

Last year 11 local festivals made the list.

Below is a full rundown of the 2015 festivals in Windsor-Essex that made the cut:

  • Balloonapalooza (Windsor)
  • Carrousel Of Nations (Windsor)
  • The Art of Eating Food and Wine Festival (Tecumseh)
  • Tecumseh Corn Festival (Tecumseh)
  • Shores of Erie International Wine Festival (Amherstburg)
