UPDATE: Essex 911 Working Again

Essex County's 911 service is back up and running after experiencing technical difficulties Saturday morning.

The system has been facing issues since just after 12am Saturday. Officials say calls would ring 9-12 times before being answered, or disconnect completely. The system was fixed around 10:30am Saturday.

Residents can now once again call 911 for all emergencies. Below is a list of numbers for Essex police, fire and EMS crews for non-urgent business.
