The Town of Essex is looking for anyone interested in running the harbour restaurant in Colchester.
Councillor Larry Snively says getting the former restaurant open again has been a key issue for residents in the Colchester area.
"I've heard it for years," says Snively. "We put it off for so long now. We have to get it open. It ties in with the boating down there and, not necessarily we have to open it as a restaurant, but it has to get open."
The town has issued a Request For Interest looking to see if they can find the right investor. Snively says he knows of at least one interested party and hopes to see the restaurant open sometime in May.
