Three people have been arrested following a robbery at an ice cream shop over the weekend.
Police are crediting a tip from the public which led to the capture of these three men.
Baskin Robbins staff on Dougall Ave. reported the incident Sunday at around 9:30pm. The owner called police while watching the events unfold on surveillance cameras over his cellphone. Police say one suspect rushed behind the counter with a gun, the other man had a crowbar. They ran out the back door with a small quantity of cash.
A 26-year-old man from Tecumseh and two Windsor men of Windsor ages 24 and 31 have all been charged with robbery. Windsor police say they are currently seeking warrants, gathering evidence and conducting interviews.
