Blackburn Helps Ease Coat Crisis

Efforts to ease a winter coat shortage at the Unemployed Help Centre continue with a major donation from a Windsor-Essex media outlet, Blackburn Radio.

MIX 96.7 Mornings co-hosts Jay Marchillo and Morgan Malewicz dropped off 100 coats collected by employees Friday.

The centre put out a call for more donations after its annual Coats for Kids campaign ran out last weekend.

Anyone with a gently-used, washable coat to spare can call the centre at 519-944-4900.

The centre will store extra coats for next year's Coats for Kids campaign.
