WEEDC Outlining Career Fair

The Windsor Essex Economic Development Corporation wants to see residents who have left the region for work, come back.

CEO Sandra Pupatello says a technical and skilled trades career fair is being aimed at these people, using ads in cities across Ontario and in Alberta. "They can take all the time they need on Friday (December 5) to get into town, come during the day on Saturday (December 6) and then spend time to get back to their region on Sunday (December 7)."

Pupatello says 18 businesses have signed up for the fair so far, with more than 150 full time jobs available.

Candidates looking to register for the fair, which will be held at Caesars Windsor, can get more information at www.choosewindsoressex.com/careerfair.
