Spits Fall To Knights

The Windsor Spitfires fell 5-3 to the London Knights in OHL action Friday night.

The Spitfires started off the game with 2-1 lead over London by the end of the first period. However, Knights centre Max Domi was able to bring his team back with three goals in the second and London scored once more before the third. In the last 20 minutes of game time. Windsor scored one final goal, but it wasn't enough to surpass the Knights.

Slater Doggett led Windsor with two goals and Markus Soberg scored one.

The Spitfires take on the Owen Sound Attack at 7:30pm on Saturday.

CK in talks for possible OHL expansion

CK Mayor Darrin Canniff explained that municipal leaders had a meeting last week with the OHL Commissioner, with the only thing holding the community back being an appropriate arena.
