Spits Fall To Knights

Despite a solid performance in the second period, the Windsor Spitfires fell to the London Knights 4-3.

During the game Saturday night, the Knights hit the ice strong making the score 3-0 before the second half of the second period. However, within three minutes, the Spits attempted to make a comeback with three goals of their own, tying the game. Unfortunately for Windsor, the Knights were able to sneak one final goal before the end of the period. Neither team scored in the third, ending the game with the Knights on top with a single goal.

Chris Marchese was top scorer for Windsor with two goals and Trevor Murphy scored one.

The Spitfires take on the Owen Sound Attack next on Thursday at 7:05pm.
