The Breast Health Imaging Centre at Windsor Regional Hospital is named in honour of the International Women's Day Committee of the CioCiaro Club after a $100,000 donation.
The money was raised over the last seven years through the annual International Women's Day celebration held at the CioCiaro Club.
Committee member Anna Vozza says the group is honoured to be recognized. " A lot of the technology that is purchased by the hospital is usually purchased by fund raising events, and this was just another way of helping."
Vozza says the committee will continue to support the Breast Health Centre in the future.
