Sarnia Sting lose to Spitfires in Windsor

The Sarnia Sting were defeated by host Windsor Spitfires Friday 7-2.

Windsor's Jack Nesbitt kicked off the scoring two minutes into the first period.

The Spitfires followed with another four goals in the first and second period.

Sarnia's Easton Wainwright kicked off the scoring for the Sting over 11 minutes into the second period.

A second goal by Liam Beamish quickly followed 25 seconds later.

The Sting were also outshot by Windsor 46-19 during Friday's game.

Sarnia plays again Saturday when they host Peterborough at the Progressive Auto Sales Arena. You can catch the game on CHOK (103.9FM/ 1070AM) starting with the pre-game show at 6:30 p.m.
