The Sarnia Sting lost to the Niagara Ice Dogs 4-3 in game five of an eight game road trip.
Sting forward Zack Filak started the scoring nearly 12 minutes into the first period. The Ice Dogs got a goal less than a minute later.
Sarnia did not make any goals in the second period but early in the third Carter Kostuch and Tyson Doucette each scored.
While the Sting lost the game they outshot Niagara 37-30.
Sarnia will be in Erie Saturday, November 9 for game six of their road trip. Puck drop is at 7 p.m.
