Legionnaires Lose In St. Thomas

The Sarnia Legionnaires lost 3-2 to the Stars in St. Thomas in GOJHL playoff action.

Most of the scoring occurred in the final two minutes of the first period.

The Stars' Peter Fleming opened the scoring at the 18:08 mark followed 17 seconds later with a goal from Adam Keyes.

Sarnia got on the board with an unassisted short-handed goal by Josh Barraclough at 19:07.

Brett Fisher scored for St. Thomas in the second period and Sarnia's Greg Hay tallied in the third.

The Legionnaires' Will Barber turned aside 26 shots while Jesse Hodgson made 41 saves.

St. Thomas leads the opening round series 2-0 with game three in Sarnia Sunday at 7;10pm.
