Sting Lose Fifth In A Row

The Sarnia Sting continue to sputter, losing 4-2 to Saginaw Wednesday night. Sarnia was down 2-1, after one and 4-1 after two, with Drake Rymsha scoring the lone marker in the third. "It's frustrating," says Rymsha. "No one wants to lose hockey games. It's not why we play. We play to win. It's tough times right now. The team's not scoring. We have to start playing our brand of hockey for 60 minutes. It has to be a full team effort to pull out of this." After being ranked number one in the country for several weeks, Sarnia's slipped to 9th spot. The high flying Sault Ste Marie Greyhounds are still the best team in the country.

The Sting host Flint Friday night with the puck drop at 6pm, an hour earlier than originally scheduled to give fans the chance to stick around and watch the Gold Medal game at the World Junior Championships on the new LED scoreboard.
