OFSAA UPDATES: Curling and Hockey Continues Thursday

On ice OFSAA action continues Thursday as a pair of local schools compete in hockey and curling.

Lambton Central dropped their opening two games at the "A/AA" Senior Girls Hockey OFSAA championships in Stratford.

They opened play with a narrow 3-2 loss to Fort Frances, and were on the wrong side of a 7-0 score against top ranked St. Michael's Wednesday afternoon.

The Lancers will play their final round robin game against Mississauga's Iona Catholic Secondary School at 9:45 Thursday morning.

St. Pat's Boys Curling team is 2-0 through day one at the OFSAA Championship in North Bay

They lead 'Pool A', with two more games schedules for Thursday. The Irish rink will play Brantford's North Park this morning, who's also 2-0, before playing hometown Widdlefield Secondary at noon.

The foursome consists of skip Dalton Crowe, Andrew Mousseau, Devon Crowe and Nick Gerrits.

Round robin play wraps up early Friday morning, with playoffs set for Friday afternoon and all day Saturday.
