Hockey Briefs for November 15

Jordan Kyrou was held off the score sheet as the OHL evened the Canada Russia series at two wins apeice with a 5-2 win in Hamilton Tuesday night.

Erie's Taylor Raddysh scored twice, while Owen Sound's Michael McNiven made 25 saves in net.

The series now shifts to the QMJHL with a game in Chicoutimi Wednesday evening.

The LKSSAA High School hockey season opened Monday afternoon.

The Mooretown Flags are on the road in Essex Tuesday night.

The Lambton Shores Predators are in London Wednesday, before a game at Sarnia Arena Thursday night against the Legionnaires.

Following Thursday's game, Predators host St. Thomas Saturday night, and the Legionnaires are in Chatham Sunday.

Crash in Tilbury claims driver's life

Chatham-Kent police reported a 44-year-old man driving a pickup truck was killed in the crash at Jeanettes Creek Road and Coutts Line around 6 p.m. Tuesday.

CK police charge woman with assault

According to Chatham-Kent police, the victim was walking around King Street East in Chatham when she was approached by a woman she didn't know and struck in the face.
