Sting Players Crack Central Scoutings Pre Draft Rankings

Three members of the Sarnia Sting  have been highlighted by NHL Central Scouting as players to watch for the 2017 Entry Draft.

Forwards Ryan McGregor and Adam Ruzicka were given a 'B' rating, indicating they are second and third round candidates. Rookie goalie Aidan Hughes was given a 'C' rating, as a candidate to go in the fourth, fifth or sixth round of next year's draft.

Bridgen native, and former Sarnia Sting goalie, Kaden Fulcher was given a 'B' rating. He is now with the Hamilton Bulldogs.

Last year, the Sting had three players selected in the NHL draft: • Jakob Chychrun selected by Arizona in the first round (16th overall) • Jordan Kyrou selected by St. Louis in the second round (35th overall) • Anthony Salinitri selected by Philadelphia in the sixth round (172nd overall)
