Lindberg Not Returning To Sting

The Sarnia Sting confirm forward Brandon Lindberg will play the upcoming season in the Greater Ontario Jr. Hockey League.

The 19-year-old Kitchener native will suit up for the three time defending Sutherland Cup champion Caledonia Corvairs.

He joins former Sting defencemen Zach Core, and Josh DeFarias as well as Sting draft pick Holden Hrysko on the Caledonia roster.

The Sting acquired Lindberg from the Saginaw Spirit midway through the 2013-14 season.

He racked up 27 goals and 63 points in 157 games with the Sting.
