Legionnaires Down Lasalle To Even GOJHL Semifinal

The Sarnia Legionnaires defeated the Vipers 5-3 in Lasalle Saturday night to even the GOJHL semifinal at a game each.

Bobby King opened the scoring for Sarnia but the teams would head into the first intermission tied 1-1.

In the second the Legionnaires exploded with goals from Jay Clarke, Kyler Keating and Tyler Prong.

Davis Boyer scored for Sarnia in the third followed by two Viper power play goals as the Legionnaires held on for the victory.

Riley Babkirk has three assists for Sarnia who host Lasalle Sunday night at 7:10pm.

In the other semi surprising London blanked top seed Leamington 3-0 to take a 2-0 series lead.
