DeAngelo invited to US World Junior Camp

Sting Defenceman Anthony DeAngelo is one of 30 players invited USA Hockey's National Jr. Team Camp December 16-19 in Boston.

DeAngelo, a 1st round draft pick of the Tampa Bay Lightning, leads all OHL defenseman with seven goals and 27 points in 22 games with the Sting this season.

After not receiving and invite to last year's camp, the New Jersey native says he's looking forward to the opportunity.

The World Jr. Championship runs from December 26 to January 5 in Toronto and Montreal.

DeAngelo is one of nine CHL players to receive an invite to camp. The Sting's Pavel Zacha will be in camp for the Czech Republic.
