Lambton College is set to resume regular operation in phases after a deadly shooting on Friday, April 10.
On Monday, the Sarnia campus will reopen, including the Main Campus, Fire School, Skilled Trades Training Centre, EarlyON Child & Family Centre, and Community Employment Services.
Services and supports will be available, and regular classes are expected to resume on Tuesday.
The college posted to social media, stating, "This phased approach is intended to give students and employees the opportunity to access supports and reconnect with each other. We recognize that this will not feel like a return to normal, and we will be approaching the end of Winter Term with flexibility and care in recognition of the needs of our student community."
This comes after the Sarnia Police Service shared updated information that the remaining suspect in the homicide investigation is not suspected to be in the Sarnia Area.
