The Sarnia Sting ended 2025 on a winning note, defeating the Knights 5-1 in London on New Year's Eve.
The win snapped a five game losing skid for the Sting, and it was revenge for London's 3-1 win in Sarnia on Sunday.
Easton Walos and Mitch Young led the way for Sarnia with a goal and an assist each, while Jordan Bax dished out two helpers.
Beckham Edwards, Brenner Lammens and Kaden Aucoin rounded out the scoring for the Sting while Henry Brzustewicz scored the lone Knights goal.
Patrick Quinlan turned aside 26 shots in the Sting crease.
Aucoin's goal was his first in the Ontario Hockey League, coming on a shorthanded breakaway.
The victory puts the Sting at 27 points on the season, four behind Saginaw for the 8th and final playoff spot in the Western Conference.
The club returns home to Progressive Auto Sales Arena on Friday night as they'll take on the Owen Sound Attack.
