Brock Street home damaged in fire

Damage is reported to be extensive in a house fire in downtown Sarnia Wednesday.

Sarnia Fire Rescue responded to a heavily involved structure fire on Brock Street North near Lochiel Street at around 2:30 a.m.

Crews battled the stubborn fire into the early morning hours.

Platoon Chief Tim Hicks said the cause of the blaze at the two-storey home is still under investigation.

No injuries have been reported.

Sarnia firefighters were on scene for most of the morning.
