Man wanted by police two days after release

A 35-year-old man is wanted by the Sarnia Police Service.

Daniel Plain was released from custody on Tuesday, August 26 on a release order with conditions to wear a GPS monitoring device and to remain in his residence between 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Police said two days later at approximately 10 p.m. a report was received Plain had allegedly violated his release order, by removing the device.

Officers attended a Wahboose Circle home and located the device, which had been damaged and cut off.

Police learned he was also bound on a probation order at the time.

Plain is wanted on four counts of failing to comply with release order, four counts of failing to comply with probation order and mischief under $5,000.
