A local man is a little richer after winning a giveaway at a Sarnia dealership.
To mark the 25th anniversary of Dave Bailey's ownership of Park Lane Chevrolet Cadillac Buick GMC, the dealership gave away $25,000 in a draw on Friday, June 27.
The last 125 people to purchase a vehicle at the London Road retailer were entered into the draw.
Kushant Patel was the lucky winner and was told the news over the phone by salesman Donnie Reid.
“Seriously?," said Patel. "Oh my god!! Give me five minutes and I’ll be there!"
General Sales Manager Matt Bailey said this is the first time they've done this type of promotion.
“We were really excited to be able to bring a contest like this to our customers and it was really awesome to be able to call Kushantkumar Patel and tell him he was the big winner of the $25,000," said Bailey in an email to Sarnia News Today. "We want to thank everyone who was part of the event and purchased a vehicle from us over the last couple of months."
