Members of the King's Royal Hussars (KRH) are in Sarnia this week.
It's part of cultural and goodwill tour, visiting with members of their sister regiment of 1st Hussars.
The Kings Royal Hussars are a British Army heavy armoured regiment based in Tidsworth, England.
The KRH are known for their distinctive dress uniforms with crimson pants and forage caps, an honour bestowed upon them by Prince Albert in the 1840’s.
The 22 visiting members of the regiment, nicknamed "the Cherrypickers", are scheduled to take part in an exhibition soccer game with Sarnia FC Wednesday evening at Germain Park.
They will travel to London on Friday to take part D-Day ceremonies on Sunday with the 1st Hussars.
