Three charged in break and enter, fourth suspect sought

Three people are charged in a morning break and enter and police are looking for a fourth suspect.

Sarnia police responded to a call from a homeowner hiding inside, concerned that people were breaking in through the front door at around 5:40 a.m. Monday.

When officers arrived, it's alleged the individuals had broken down the front door and gained entry to the home.

Three suspects exited the residence and were arrested, while a fourth took off on foot.

Police said one of the suspects was aggressive with officers and a Taser was deployed to gain compliance and complete the arrest.

Three Sarnia men, 34, 38 and 46 years old face several charges including break and enter with intent and mischief.

Police said the 38-year-old is also charged with breach of probation and theft in connection to an incident on Brock Street where several thousand dollars in fishing gear was allegedly stolen from a truck.

The Sarnia Police Service is attempting to identify the fourth suspect.
