New Blue Party names Sarnia-Lambton candidate

Keith Benn will once again carry the banner for the New Blue Party of Ontario in the upcoming provincial election.

A resident of Port Lambton, Dr. Keith Benn is a geological consultant in the minerals industry.

He previously ran in the 2022 Ontario General Election in the New Blue Party's first election campaign and won 6.8 per cent of the vote in Sarnia-Lambton.

In 2024, Dr. Benn ran as the New Blue candidate in the Lambton-Kent Middlesex by-election, which was won by Conservative candidate Steve Pinsonneault.

So far, Benn is running against incumbent Progressive Conservative Bob Bailey and NDP candidate Candace Young.

Candidate nominations close at 2 p.m. on Thursday, February 13.

Voters head to the polls on February 27.
