An all-candidates night is planned in Kettle and Stony Point First Nation on Friday.
Community members are being invited to meet those running for chief and council in the November 8 election.
There is a three-way race for chief.
Current Chief Kimberly Bressette is seeking a second term, former Chief Jason Henry wants to be re-elected, after being defeated by Bressette in 2022, and Wesley Monague is challenging them.
The competition for one of nine councillor positions is more intense, with a total of 45 people on the ballot hoping to serve from 2024 to 2026.
The candidates open house is being held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on November 1 in the gymnasium at Hillside School.
Speeches are scheduled to start at 6:15 p.m.
Candidates will be assigned tables for the question and answer part of the meet and greet.
A poll will take place on November 8 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. in the gymnasium at Hillside School.
