Stars on Ice Holiday Tour to dazzle in Sarnia

Canadian Olympian Elvis Stojko will glide into Progressive Auto Sales Arena this winter as the Stars on Ice Holiday Tour stops in Sarnia.

Tourism Sarnia Lambton Executive Director Mark Perrin said they're excited to be included as a stop on the national tour.

"The Stars on Ice show is something that hasn't been in Sarnia for well over a decade," he said. "We're excited with the opportunity of bringing it back and having Sarnia included in that schedule and being one of the only dates for southwestern Ontario."

Stojko, a two-time Olympic silver medalist, three-time world champion, and seven-time Canadian champion, will headline the event.

The star-studded cast will also include Canadian Olympic medalist Kaetlyn Osmond, three-time world medalists Kaitlyn Weaver and Andrew Poje, Olympian Keegan Messing, two-time world medalist Satoko Miyahara, two-time Canadian champion Nam Nguyen, U.S. Olympic medalist Jeremy Abbott, U.S. Olympic medalist Gracie Gold, and Canadian junior champion Elladj Baldé.

Weaver will also choreograph the holiday show.

The holiday show will be held on Saturday, December 7 at 7 p.m. Tickets are currently on sale and can be purchased online at starsonice.ca or through the Sarnia Sting Box Office.

Tickets start at $39.99 for children 12 and under and $59.99 for adults.

Perrin said they're working to confirm if on-ice seating will be available.

"Those seats would just be available via upgrade," he said. "So people don't have to wait, they can go ahead and purchase tickets and then if we do have on-ice seating, then we'll announce that and people can upgrade accordingly."

Perrin said there may be an opportunity for community engagement with some of the cast but for now, logistics of the tour are being ironed out.

World Vision Canada is the official charity for the 2024 Stars on Ice Holiday Tour.
