Gates open Friday afternoon for the 152nd Forest Fall Fair.
The theme this year is "Celebrating Farm, Friends and Fun at the Forest Fall Fair".
Spokesperson Gord Marsh said traditionally thousands show up at the fairgrounds over the three days.
"We have all kinds of animal shows, a free petting zoo, it's interactive for the kids, they can actually get in and interact with the animals," said Marsh. "We have live entertainment on two different stages going all weekend long, all kinds of food, something for everybody."
He said always popular is the demolition derby Sunday afternoon.
"I love to get over to the demolition derby, most of the time I don't have time to get there but I can hear it. This year, we'll be live-streaming into our entertainment tent, so give you some more options."
New said new this year is the Kids Power Wheels Derby for kids three to eight years old.
It's on during the Demolition Derby intermission Sunday.
"Kids can bring their Power Wheels out, they can register online on our website and they can go and bump into each other on their Power Wheels," said Marsh.
Each participant must have their own Power Wheel and a helmet to be allowed in the ring.
Other fair highlights include the midway, fireworks Friday night and the traditional parade on Saturday. The parade begins at noon from the old arena, arriving at the fairgrounds at 12:30 p.m.
Admission is $15 per day, or a weekend pass for $40. Elementary school aged children are free.
Gates open at 4 p.m. on Friday, and at 7 a.m. both Saturday and Sunday.
