A 26-year-old man has been arrested and faces multiple assault charges following a disturbance in Sarnia on Thursday morning.
City police responded to the area of Indian Road and Exmouth Street at around 6:55 a.m.
They had received reports of a male, armed with a knife, chasing two other males and one of the victims had been stabbed.
Officers quickly located the individuals on Roger Street.
One victim suffered significant, but non-life threatening, injuries and was taken to hospital for further treatment.
Sarnia police said the suspect was known to the victim and located after being identified by witnesses at the scene.
A suspect was arrested without incident and was held for a bail hearing.
Brandon Tetreault, 26, is charged with aggravated assault, assault causing bodily harm, assault with a weapon, and two counts of mischief under $5,000.
Police said at the time of the incident, Tetreault was bound by a release order issued by a Justice of the Peace for aggravated assault, theft under $5,000, and using a disguise when committing an offence.
