Suspect sought in cash box theft from Watford Legion

Lambton OPP are looking for a suspect after four cash boxes were stolen from the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 172 in Watford.

Police were called about a break, enter, and theft at the Nauvoo Road site on April 13 at around 9:26 a.m.

It was determined someone kicked in a window and entered the establishment sometime during the early morning hours.

The cash boxes, containing an undisclosed amount of Canadian currency, were taken.

The suspect is described as a white male, 20 to 30 years old, medium build, wearing black and white running shoes, dark pants and a dark hoodie with "Burnard Builders Inc" written down each arm.

Individuals or businesses in the area are being asked to contact Lambton OPP if they are able to assist with video surveillance.
