Fatal morning crash in Brooke-Alvinston

One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash Monday morning in Brooke-Alvinston.

Lambton OPP Cst. Jamie Bydeley said a 24-year-old driver from Alvinston was pronounced dead at the scene.

He said the two-vehicle collision happened near the intersection of Inwood Road and Rokeby Line at around 7:40 a.m.

Inwood Road was closed between Petrolia Line and Shiloh Line, and Rokeby Line was closed between Forest Road and Sutorville Road.

"Please do not drive around the road closures for the safety of the investigators that are working on scene," said Bydeley. "The closure is expected to last several hours."
