The suspicious death of a man at a residence in south Sarnia is now being investigated as a homicide.
It would be the city's first homicide of 2024.
Sarnia police were called to the home in the area of Queen Street and Devine Street at around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, and found a man with no vital signs.
On Thursday afternoon, police upgraded the case to a suspected homicide, and said no arrests had been made.
Police said the identity of the victim will not be disclosed until next of kin have been notified.
Additional details will be released as they become available.
As previously reported, the public can expect a continued police presence in the area while the investigation continues.
