UPDATE: Man found dead in south Sarnia neighbourhood

A heavy Sarnia police presence was reported in the area of Queen Street and Devine Street Wednesday afternoon.

Police said they were called to a home at 10:30 a.m. and that when they arrived they found the body of an adult man inside.

The name of the deceased is not being released at this time.

The death is considered suspicious. Police said they will continue to maintain a presence in the area as they investigate.

No arrests have been made.

Police are asking residents in the area to check home security systems for any suspicious pedestrians or vehicles between the hours of 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 519-344-8861 ext. 5300 or Crime Stoppers at 519-332-8477 (TIPS).
