Environment Canada issued a Winter Weather Travel Advisory for Eastern Lambton County, as well as London and Middlesex County Saturday morning.
The advisory was issued early Saturday but ended just before 10:30 a.m.
The advisory said heavy lake effect flurries were expected before tapering off late Saturday morning.
"Travel may be hazardous due to sudden changes in the weather. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate because of accumulating snow," it said.
Drivers are being warned to prepare to adjust their driving because of the road conditions
