COVID-19 outbreak at Sarnia hospital over

A COVID-19 outbreak at Bluewater Health in Sarnia has been declared over.

The hospital announced an end to the outbreak Friday, following consultation with Lambton Public Health.

The outbreak was declared November 24 on the Cognitively Complex Continuing Care (CCCOG) unit in Sarnia.

Bluewater Health said diligent infection prevention and control measures were key in helping control this outbreak.

Bluewater Health currently has 11 COVID-positive patients at the hospital.
