Business Showcase to be held at DeGroot's

Over 60 local businesses will highlight their products and services during the 2023 Business Showcase, organized by the Sarnia-Lambton Chamber of Commerce.

The free public event will be held on Wednesday, November 15 at DeGroot's Nurseries between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Chamber CEO Carrie McEachran said while members of the public are invited, the vendors are exclusively chamber members.

"It's just a really great way for them to be able to spotlight what they have happening in their businesses and network with each other," McEachran said.

"For the first time, we are doing an activity zone. So we will have Valley Axe out doing some activities, we have Dream Weaver Face Painting and Mascots coming out, so there's going to be something for everybody."

Food options will also be provided by the Dante Club, Coffee Lodge, and Treats by Rae. Lambton's Craft Brewers will also be on site, along with a cash bar.

Although there will be no admission fee, canned goods will be collected for the Inn of the Good Shepherd. Those who bring a donation will be entered into a draw to win door prizes.

Wednesday's event marks the second Business Showcase to take place in the community since the COVID-19 pandemic. The Chamber of Commerce said about 350 people attended the last showcase.
