Police track down suspect vehicle from weekend hit-and-run

Lambton OPP say the vehicle involved in a hit-and-run Friday evening in Sarnia has been located.

Police said a cyclist travelling in the area of Lakeshore Road and Mandaumin Road was struck by a vehicle at around 8 p.m., and taken to hospital for treatment of serious but non-life threatening injuries.

In a post on social media Wednesday morning, Lambton OPP said with the help of Sarnia police and tips from residents, the suspect vehicle was located in the city and impounded.

The vehicle is being processed by forensic identification officers for evidence.
