A recent donation will go towards some improvements at the Courtright fire hall.
CF Industries gave the St. Clair Township Fire Department a cheque for $10,000 for upgrades to the emergency power generator at Station 3 in Courtright.
The fire department says the station is used as a backup Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) for CF Industries and serves as the hub during an emergency.
The generator upgrade will also allow for the station to be used as a cooling or warming centre in the event of an emergency situation.
