Drug trafficking charges in joint police effort

A 33-year-old Sarnia woman is again facing drug trafficking charges following a recent joint investigation at Kettle & Stony Point First Nation.

Lambton OPP said members of its Community Street Crimes Unit along with members of the Anishinabek Police Service arrested the woman during a traffic stop on June 2, following a drug trafficking investigation.

OPP said at the time, the accused was on conditions of house arrest from a previous drug trafficking conviction.

During a search, police seized suspected fentanyl, methamphetamine, hydromorphone, and distribution materials.

Danielle Waddilove was charged with three counts of possession of a schedule one substance for the purpose of trafficking.

OPP said she was held in custody following a bail hearing on June 3.

Charges against the accused have not been proven in court.
