Celtic Extravaganza at Great Lakes auditorium

Sarnia's Great Lakes High School is hosting a Celtic Extravaganza on Friday night.

It's the first of two shows with the International Symphony Orchestra (ISO).

The ISO's Anthony Wing said they're celebrating their 65th year.

"We are welcoming our special guests, the Steel City Rovers," said Wing. "They're a Celtic band from Hamilton who last performed with the ISO in 2019. I should point out that we haven't done a Celtic concert since 2020."

Wing said the Sarnia Legion Pipe Band will also make an appearance.

"Great Lakes has an outstanding hall with about 600 seats," he said. "There's no balcony so it goes straight up."

On Saturday, there's a show at Port Huron Northern High School at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets for both shows are available online at www.theiso.org.
